Windows Server 2003, AD, LDAP and Linux
13/9/2552
I’m trying to setup a single account for windows service, wiki, linux, etc. The final solution I chose is Active Directory (AD) on Windows server 2003 R2 (considering to migrate to 2008 R2 soon). With Active Directory, one can setup “single-sign-on (SSO)” which includes wiki, mail, DFS, terminal service and also the linux account via Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). Yeah, it is my main goal to use only single account and password for everything. In this topic, I don’t have a tip for this topic because I just started to try it, at least can integrate AD with linux. The website which I start to study with is http://www.interix.com/LearningCenter/Native_LDAP_native_Kerberos_and_AD_services.htm
